I am just starting out and have no clients yet. Is it worth setting this up?
Yes, that is who it is built for: you pay nothing until a client pays you online. Setting up is free with no card to enter, so your site, booking page and client portal are ready before your first client arrives.
How do you make money with no monthly subscription?
We only earn when you do, so you pay nothing until a client pays you: then 8% of what they pay online, plus Stripe’s processing fee at cost (in Spain, 1.5% + €0.25 for EEA cards). Clients pay by card and the money goes straight to your own Stripe account, with no setup fee and no contract. If you take a lot of card payments every month, a flat subscription elsewhere can work out cheaper, and we would rather tell you now.
Does it meet GDPR and Spain’s health-data rules?
We built it around them: your data stays in the EU, in Google Cloud’s Madrid region, and clients sign consent forms based on the Colegio de la Psicología model online, with each version kept. Notes you keep private are never shown to clients, and we never sell your data or use it for ads. We make these rules easier to follow, but you stay responsible for your practice and we do not give legal advice.
What happens when someone cancels at the last minute?
You still get paid. Clients pay in advance, and if they cancel with less notice than you set, the session fee is not refunded, automatically, so you never have to ask for it. If you cancel, the client gets a full refund.
I already use Doctoralia, Calendly or my own website. Do I have to switch?
No. Keep your Doctoralia profile if it brings you patients, and run your practice here: bookings, payments, consent forms and the client portal. Already have a website? Link it to your WellnessDesk booking page and change nothing else.
How long does it take to set up?
Minutes, and you start with your website before you create an account: pick a design, add your name, photo and first service, and see it the way clients will. Save it with your email or Google, then finish the rest whenever it suits you.
What if I want to leave?
Leave from your settings whenever you like, with no contract, notice period or cancellation fee, and since you pay nothing until a client pays you, there is nothing left to pay off. Your data stays available for 30 days to export, and your domain stays yours.
